This Is How I Roll!

Many Saturdays of my childhood were spent at the roller rink. My mom would drop my brother and I off and I would just skate for hours until my legs could skate no more! How did something that was so much fun count as exercise? I wasn’t sure but I knew it was my go to for a good cardio workout. Something about skating connected me to my imagination and creative energy. I still go back their from time to time when I need to unwind and be reminded of the brave girl who would fall down and get right back up. The girl who would keep skating to the tune of life's funky beat while daydreaming of what she would do in this great big world. That girl is so proud of the journey I am on today. (She might just be a little bit surprised that I'm no longer a fan of roller rink food!)
